Big Moves for Kraemer & Kin

For the better part of a decade we have been dreaming and doing. North Hero Hops & Agriculture is coming into its 11th season while our brewery, Kraemer & Kin is moving into it’s 4th year in 2023. It's been a wild and hard hustling few years. A few broad strokes of our trajectory; we launched in 2020 out of Levi & Christie’s 20x30 garage. The garage was a small but quite the kickass little brewery nuculator space. In early 2022 we dismantled our little garage brewery engine and moved the whole operation further north to the basement of the Alburg Golf Links clubhouse. Additionally, we took over clubhouse operations and morphed the space into our taproom/brewhouse/restaurant, exciting stuff! In the expansion of our operations to the Alburg Golf Links we have gained a stunning public space that overlooks a western facing bay on Lake Champlain. Its the kind of view that encourages you to relax and stay awhile.

For those of you that first met us in the charming Green Tara Art Space; it is true, we have fully moved out of Green Tara and are fully focused on our Alburgh location. Collaboration with Green Tara was one of the most fortunate things that happened in 2020. We remain friends and admiring supporters of Green Tara and will continue our collaborative relationship as often as possible.

As we grow, we will need high quality team members to join our dynamic family owned and operated small business. Perhaps you or someone you know is similarly motivated towards quality of product and service, consider inquiring on available opportunities with Kraemer & Kin! This is a very exciting time in the evolution of our brewery and agricultural pursuits. Join us this summer in Alburgh to celebrate this realization of dreams long held made possible by community support.

A road long traveled

Welcome to Kraemer & Kin, we are a family owned and operated brewery located in Grand Isle, Vermont. It has taken the better part of a decade for each of our entrepreneurial dreams to weave together and make this family business possible. Since our launch in February of 2020, we have been able to navigate the curve balls of chaos and pandemic, continuing to stay the course. We are so fortunate to keep pursuing what we love. Making beer, growing hops and appreciating the communities that make it possible.

We find inspiration from the natural world around us; in the fields tended by our local farmers, in our own homestead gardens and in the forests where we enjoy going to forage.
